Little Bird Publicity founder Sarah Burningham has worked in publicity and publishing for over 20 years and represented some of the best architects and designers in the world, including Gil Schafer, Peter Pennoyer, Williams Lawrence, Ferguson & Shamamian Architects, Tammy Connor Interior Design, Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and Ben Pentreath.
She also worked with several New York Times and #1 bestselling authors, including Ralph Nader, 50 Cent, Isabella Rossellini, William F. Buckley, Jr., Robyn Carr, and others.
Before starting Little Bird in 2009, Sarah ran a publicity and marketing department at HarperCollins and held director-level positions at William Morrow, Regan, Miramax, Weinstein Books, Workman and Gibbs Smith. She is also the author of numerous books and has been interviewed by the Today Show, CBS News, ABC News, NPR, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. She is a member of the Design Leadership Network, the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Women’s Media Group, and the National League of American PEN Women.
Grant Burningham

Grant Burningham has worked across media in radio, podcasts, daily newspapers and glossy magazines. He has worked as an editor at The New York Times, Newsweek and Yahoo News, where he planned coverage around elections and breaking news. He’s worked on audience and building digital strategies. Most recently, he was Managing Editor at The Salt Lake Tribune.
He also ran a communications department at the University of California, San Francisco, produced podcasts for Verizon and Yahoo, and written for the BBC, Time Magazine, Quartz and The International Herald Tribune.
As Head of Content and Operations, Grant leverages his 20 years of experience to craft and tell stories about our clients, build strategies around media outreach and social media, and provide an editor’s touch to websites and book copy.
